Damodar Lal Kumawat
With over 45 years of experience, Damodar Lal Kumawat represents the pinnacle of traditional woodcarving artistry. Since 1981, his hands have shaped thousands of wooden masterpieces, each carrying the soul of his craft.
Trained in the traditional woodworking arts of Rajasthan, Damodar learned techniques passed down through generations of master craftsmen. Today, he leads a team of skilled artisans from his workshop in Jaipur.

In 1981, master craftsman Damodar Lal Kumawat began carving wood in the heart ofJaipur, Rajasthan — not as a business, but as a calling. A tradition passed down through generations, each piece a prayer in wood.
Today, our family of 15 artisans continues that legacy. We haven't changed our methods — only grown in the number of homes our craft calls its own.
